Ok, so your medium is pen and paper, but you need to concentrate in one aspect. Is it the texture of the paper? Is it the possibilities of the pen? Choose something very specific. The portrait idea isn't bad but remember to consider pre-established guidelines, so your work doesn't fall into the "collage" trap. Keep in mind the minimalism of the works we've seen in class. What exactly about drawing do you want to emphasize?
