Jack I really like where your project stands, and I think it's going to be a good one. I offered some feedback on the proposal itself, which I will be returning today in class - basically I'm asking you to start experimenting right away.
Also very important: you *must* update the blog more often, at least once a week - brainstorming and documenting the process is a big part of this project.
